MA Organizational Leadership - DNP

Program Description

The Transformational Nurse Leader (TNL): Dual Degree option prepares individuals with baccalaureate degrees in nursing to assume leadership positions as doctoral prepared nurses. The TNL Program builds upon the student’s previous educational preparation at the baccalaureate level and provides a robust, interprofessional curriculum in leadership and advanced practice nursing. Upon successfully completing this rigorous academic program of graduate study, graduates will be awarded a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership (MAOL) and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). Consistent with the mission of the Department of Nursing, the Henrietta Schmoll School of Health, the MAOL program, and the Graduate College at St. Catherine University, these graduates will be prepared to assume leadership roles in healthcare organizations and systems.
