DNP: Post-Master's
The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) - post master's program is designed for nurses engaged in advanced practice who want to create change in healthcare delivery at the system’s level. Applicants to this program already hold a master’s degree in nursing with an area of nursing practice specialization or advanced practice role. Through a robust plan of study, graduates are well prepared to shape healthcare policy, implement changes in healthcare practice, and demonstrate evidence-based decision-making related to healthcare outcomes for individuals and populations. Graduates from a master's of science in nursing entry-level program are not eligible for this DNP option.
