Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Teaching Elementary Education - Certificate
The science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) Teaching Elementary Education certificate was created to increase the depth of understanding of STEM content specifically for elementary education majors but is also open to students in other majors. The certificate will help education majors be better prepared to teach STEM and may make other majors more marketable in STEM-related businesses.
This certificate is offered in the College for Women and the College for Adults.
All students who are admitted to the elementary education major require the STEM Teaching Elementary Education certificate to apply for a teaching license.
