Health Sciences - AAS
This is an Associate of Health Science degree that provides students with entry level credentials to work in a variety of healthcare settings. Emphasis of the program is placed on developing skills in interprofessional collaboration, cultural fluency, ecological approaches to health, leadership, and patient care. This degree positions graduates for advancement in healthcare roles and opportunities to seek further healthcare related education. It is offered in the College for Adults in a fully online, primarily asynchronous format.
This major is offered in the College for Adults only.
In addition to the program-required courses, students must complete the LIFE general education core curriculum.
These major requirements, in conjunction with the 20 credits of LIFE Core, will help students towards completing the 60 credits required to earn an AAS degree. Students may need additional coursework to reach the 60 credit threshold.
