Dual-Degree DNP Programs

The Baccalaureate in Nursing to DNP dual degree options are an innovative collaboration between the Nursing, Masters of Arts in Organizational Leadership (MAOL), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) for students with a master's degree in nursing, Master of Arts in Holistic Health Studies (MAHS), and Master of Health Informatics (MHI) programs at St. Catherine University. With four options for students to select from, our graduates will learn and grow as leaders in the discipline of nursing while simultaneously having access to the expertise of faculty in other influential healthcare fields.

With a curriculum designed for adult learners who are prepared to engage in graduate study in nursing and leadership, these online (MHI only), hybrid, evening, and occasional weekend program options couple community building and social aspects of face-to-face learning with the flexibility of online interaction and engagement. Assignments reflect contemporary leadership needs, challenges in the healthcare climate, and building skill and knowledge sets needed to promote system change. Students will engage in learner-centered classes and extensive practicum work consistent with academic and professional standards of nursing and interprofessional education, advance the profession of nursing, promote the health and wellness of society, and prepare effective, ethical, and enduring healthcare leaders. The programs are completed in three years.
