Post-Master's Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Second Certificate
This post-master's certificate program is for working professionals certified as advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs). In this 21 credit, hybrid, one-year program, you will build on your experience as an APRN to prepare for psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) positions. PMHNPs are care providers who serve the mental health needs of patients and clients in health systems, clinics, counseling centers, and community organizations. You will also gain the confidence to establish your own independent practice as a PMHNP utilizing a holistic approach. Upon completion of the program, you will be eligible to take the ANCC PMHNP certification.
