The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Certification provides a route for nurse practitioners who already hold a graduate degree (MSN or DNP) in nursing with certification in an existing APRN population focus who seek a second area of specialization in psychiatric mental health.
