Students who place into SPAN 2110 Intermediate Spanish I and/or SPAN 2120 Spanish for the Professions may count it/them toward the minor. Thereafter, they will need to take SPAN 2120 Spanish for the Professions (if applicable), SPAN 3050W Visions of the Hispanic World: Reading to Speak and Write and SPAN 3250 Introduction to Critical Cultural and Literary Analysis, in addition to one or two courses at the 3000- or 4000-level (for a total of five 4-credit courses or 20 credits). Students who place into SPAN 3050W Visions of the Hispanic World: Reading to Speak and Write will need to complete SPAN 3250 Introduction to Critical Cultural and Literary Analysis and an additional three 3000- or 4000-level courses to fulfill requirements for the minor.
