Baccalaureate Degree Requirement for Students Enrolling or Re-Enrolling at St. Catherine University Fall 2022 or Later¹

Candidates for a B.A., B.S., or B.S.N.² degree must fulfill the following graduation requirements:

• A minimum of 120 semester credits including:
  • completion of the LIFE core curriculum³
  • acceptance into and completion of the requirements for an approved major
• Completion of the residency requirement of 32 semester credits in residence (this applies to students seeking their first or second bachelor's degree)
• Completion of a minimum of 36 upper-division (3000- or 4000-level) credits
• Completion of a Graduation Application form
• A minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0

  Students who enrolled prior to fall 2022 are advised to reference the requirements of the catalog applicable to their term of enrollment.

  Candidates for a B.S.N. degree enrolled in the RN-BSN Degree Completion section are required to complete a minimum of 30 semester credits in residence. This requirement is reduced to 26 semester credits for RN-BSN students who have completed a previous baccalaureate degree.
