Health Sciences - BS

The Bachelor in Health Science major provides students with entry-level credentials to work in a variety of healthcare settings. The emphasis of the program is placed on developing skills in interprofessional collaboration, cultural fluency, ecological approaches to health, leadership, and patient care. This degree positions graduates for advancement in healthcare roles and opportunities to seek further healthcare related education.

This major is offered in the College for Adults in a fully online, some synchronous format. Students with no college or technical healthcare training can complete the program in 8 terms (inclusive of summer) by taking 12-16 credits per term. For students with some college or technical healthcare training, the length of program and credit requirements are less. The program includes 31 major credits (21 to 25 of those at the upper division level).
