DNP: Post-Master's
The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) - post master's programs are designed for nurses engaged in advanced practice (APRNs) who want to create change in healthcare delivery at the systems level. Applicants must hold a master’s degree in nursing (MSN) with an area of nursing practice specialization. Through a robust plan of study, graduates are well prepared to shape healthcare policy, implement changes in healthcare practice, and demonstrate evidence-based decision-making related to healthcare outcomes for individuals and populations.
Graduates from a master's of science in nursing entry-level program are not eligible for this DNP option.
