Master of Arts in Education: Montessori Diploma - MA
Through a partnership between St. Catherine University's Education Department and the Montessori Center of Minnesota (MCM), students prepare for a career as a Montessori educator and earn a Master of Arts in Education degree.
The Montessori courses are offered at MCM's state-of-the-art facility in St. Paul. Students prepare for careers as Montessori guides, earn the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) diploma and complete the additional courses (offered in an online format) required for a Master of Arts degree in Education. Each fall, a new cohort of students begin a one-year course of study toward a primary diploma. Every third summer, a new cohort of students begin the summer-intensive, 2-1/2 year elementary diploma program.
