Student Accounts: Giving Access to Parent or Third Party
In compliance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), a student's records may not be shared with a third party without the student's written consent.
Adding an authorized user is a student's written consent that an individual may view their student account information and make payments on their behalf. This does not give the authorized user access to the student's stored payment methods, academic records or other private information.
To set up an authorized user, students are advised to visit the Student Accounts website to find the form.
