Courtesy hours are 24-hours a day. These are defined as being courteous to those sleeping or studying, students are asked to maintain reasonable noise levels in the residence halls at all times. Living in close proximity to others means conversations, music, and other noise may carry into adjacent rooms, suites, and apartments. When issues arise, students are encouraged to speak directly with their roommates and neighbors about their concerns before contacting hall staff.

Established quiet hours are:

Sunday through Thursday              10:00pm–9:00am

Friday and Saturday                        Midnight-10:00am

Established quiet hours are set times in which students are asked to keep media, conversations, and movement throughout the hall at a reasonably soft level. Generally, noise should not disturb students living adjacent to each other.
