The expectations below enhance the University’s compliance policy as explained in the Student Code of Conduct.
Students have the responsibility to comply with the reasonable request of a University staff member (including Resident Advisors) acting within the scope of their duties.
This includes, but is not limited to, opening the door when a staff member is attempting to confront a policy violation, presenting proper identification, managing guest behavior, and communicating accurate information upon request. Lack of awareness of policies, anger, and intoxication will not constitute acceptable justifications for inappropriate conduct towards staff members. Such behavior may result in disciplinary action.
